Since its inception in 1998, Reach Education Action Programme (REAP) has been at the forefront of educational innovation. Recently, we launched the STEM Learning & Research Centre (SLRC), a specialized unit dedicated to advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education from an ecological perspective. Our mission aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), aiming to foster a generation of learners who are not only knowledgeable but also environmentally conscious.
In collaboration with Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE), Mumbai, SLRC drives research and development in STEM education. We offer a transformative educational experience that goes beyond traditional learning. Our programs emphasize experiential learning and hands-on projects, helping students develop critical thinking, creativity, and a profound understanding of STEM concepts. Our approach integrates environmental sustainability and ethical practices, preparing students to become both innovative problem solvers and responsible stewards of our planet.
To cultivate a new generation of learners who are passionate about science, technology, and nature, capable of addressing emerging societal challenges through innovative learning products and robotic applications integrated into the school education system.
To develop future scientists and technocrats equipped with 21st-century industry knowledge and skills in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics, all through an ecological lens. Our goal is to empower young learners, from grade 1 onwards, with the technological knowledge and skills needed for modern industry demands. EcoSTEM simplifies complex concepts through hands-on activities and experiential learning, making education enjoyable and effective. Students engage in creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and group work, all grounded in design thinking principles.
SLRC offers a range of short and long courses tailored to the diverse STEM learning needs of students across different grades. Join us in shaping the next generation of innovative and sustainable thinkers.
